Day 1

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will meet/assist and transfer to your hotel. Overnight hotel.

Day 2

Guided tour to four of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the medieval Kings who ruled over the then Kathmandu Kingdom. Pashupatinath houses a sacred lingum, or the phallic symbol of Lord Shiva. The Aryaghat alongside Pashupati and on the banks of the Bagmati River is a famous funeral site for the Hindus. The Buddhists shrine of Boudhanath is one of the largest stupas in the world, and one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage and tourist destinations in Kathmandu.  The area of Boudhnath is also famous for over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries. Swayambhunath meaning the "the self-existent" is popular among the foreigners as the Monkey Temple owing to the large number of monkey population residing in the area. Day 3

Explore the southern part of Kathmandu valley, Dakshinkali, regarded as one of most important Hindu goddesses where pilgrims visit to offer their prayer and animal sacrifices to the goddess. Chobhar, known for the Chobhar gorge through which all the water of the valley drains and also for the vast network of natural mountain caves. Pharping offers several Buddhist & Hindu monuments, temples and monasteries. Kirtipur, on the top of a hill, is one of the medieval kingdoms inside the Kathmandu Valley. The historic town has many interesting sights, shrines and temples, old houses, people in their old traditional costumes, people working on ancient loom. Overnight Hotel.

Day 4

Drive 143km to Bandipur, the hill top settlement at an elevation of  offers a great treat to the urban eyes hungry for nature's company, especially the panoramic views of the Annapurnas. The town is a living museum of Newari culture with more than 70% of the buildings being Newari style houses - carved wooden windows and overhanging slate roofs. There is also a famous cave called Siddha Cave. Enjoy the great hikes and fantastic views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains and have a nice breakfast out on the back patio of the resort overlooking the corn and rice fields. Walk around admiring the vistas, chat with the friendly local people, and admire their local way of life. Overnight at the local resort.

Day 5

Drive approx 3 hrs to Pokhara Valley offering magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara's numerous lakes, known as 'Tal' in Nepali, offer fishing, boating and swimming. Pokhara is also the gateway for trekking in the Annapurna Region. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Enjoy the sunrise view from Sarangkot at an elevation of 1532m/5026ft and drive approx 5 hours to Chitwan National Park. There will be a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, dinner with cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums. Overnight Jungle Lodge.

Day 7

Wake up call, breakfast, elephant back safari, lunch, canoeing ride, short jungle walk and elephant breeding centre tour, dinner and briefing about next day program.Overnight Jungle Lodge.

Day 8

Wake up Call, tea/ coffee, weather permits start bird watching activities and back in lodge for breakfast and departure transfer to the airport to board flight to Kathmandu. Overnight hotel.

Day 9

Departure transfer to board onward flight.
