13 Days North India Tour [VANIT13]

Day 1

After your arrival in Delhi airport, our local guide will pickup you up and transfer to your hotel. Relax in the rest hours of this day and also visit the traditional bazaars as well as historic and monumental sites in Delhi.  Overnight at Delhi hotel.

Day 2

After breakfast, we make a historic sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit to the majestic Red Fort or Lal Kila, the beautiful marvels covered in red sandstone. Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India that was built by Emperor Shah Jahan of the Taj Mahal fame. Rajghat - a memorial of Mahatama Gandhi. After exploring the Old Delhi monuments, we visit Rashtrapati Bhawan (Presidential Palace), the India Gate - a memorable monument built in the honor of Indian soldiers, and Qutub Minar, one of the tallest towers in the world. After taking our Lunch, we drive approx 4-5hrs further to Agra.  Overnight at Agra Hotel.

Day 3

We start Agra Sightseeing tour after morning breakfast. Visit the Taj Mahal, a finest amalgam of love and architecture - one of the wonders of the world. We also visit Agra Fort, a large fortified strategic point of Mughal Empire. Then we further drive approx 4hrs to Jaipur. En route, we visit Mughal Dynasty's Fatehpur Sikri with magnificent red sandstone building, built by the Moghal Emperor Akbar to commemorate Saint Salim Chisti, who blessed Akbar with three sons. Overnight at Jaipur Hotel.

Day 4

After morning breakfast, we make an excursion to the 16th century Amber fort. Also enjoy elephant ride at Amber Fort. The fort was built by Akbar's Rajput Commander, Raja Man Singh. Visit and shop at textile industry. Other attractions of Jaipur are the City Palace of Jaipur, Hawa Mahal or Wind Palace and Jantar Mantar or Observatory which was built by Raja Jai Singh. Also visit Laxmi Narayan Temple. Overnight at Jaipur Hotel.

Day 5

Moring drive approx 4hrs to Puskar. Check in to Hotel. After taking our Lunch, we make a sightseeing tour of Puskar. Visit the Lord Brahma Temple which is enclosed by Pushkar Lake. Hindu pilgrims and devotees take a spiritual dip in the holy water of the Pushkar Lake. Overnight at Puskar Hotel.

Day 6

After breakfast, we drive APPROX 5-6hrs to Bikaner. After lunch, we visit the 16 the century Junagarh Fort built by Raja Rai Singh.  This magnificent marble fort made from red sandstone has extensive wall with 37 bastions and two entrances. Another attraction is the 19 the century Lallgarh Palace, built by the British engineer Samual Swinton Jacob and commissioned by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner.  Overnight at Bikaner Hotel.

Day 7

Today, we take a slightly longer driver for about 6hrs to Jaisalmer after breakfast. On arrival at Jaisalmer, check into Hotel. Stroll around the Hotel in the evening. Overnight at Jaisalmer Hotel.

Day 8

Full day sightseeing in Jaisalmer. Visit the 12th century Jaisalmer Fort built by the Rajput ruler Jaisala. Visit the group of Jain Temples inside the Fort built between 12th to 15th century. The temples contain the beautiful images of the warriors and the gods. Simlarly, Patwon Ki Haveli is one of the largest and most elaborate houses in Jaisalmer. After lunch, we take rest in hotel. In the afternoon, drive 40 km to Kuri where we enjoy the camel ride and view the beautiful sun set in sand dunes. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight at Jaisalmer Hotel.

Day 9

Today, we drive to drive about 6hrs to Jodhpur after taking morning breakfast. Check into the Hotel. Stroll around the Hotel in the evening.  Overnight at Jodhpur Hotel.

Day 10

We make a full day sightseeing o Jodhpur today. Visit Mehrangarh Fort. Jaswant Thada is a memorial built in white marble in the honor of Jaswant Singh. We also visit Umaid Bhawan, a majestic Palace, but now functioning as a heritage hotel and museum. Other places of interest are Clock Tower, Sadar Market, and Jhanki Mahal. The colourful Sardar Market offers wide range of handicrafts giving immense shopping pleasure to the locals. The Jhanki Mahal, from where the royal ladies watched the official proceedings, in the courtyard, today houses a rich collection of the royal cradles. The cradles are decorated with gilt mirrors and figures of fairies, elephant and birds.  Overnight at Jodhpur Hotel.

Day 11

After breakfast drive approx 5-6hrs to Udaipur.  Enroute visit of Ranakpur - At the noon time visit these temples. It is famous for Jain Temples at Ranakpur. These temples are dedicated to Adinath and date back to the beginning of 15th century…Made up of 29 halls supported by 200 different pillars, this temple has 20 domes which constitute the complex roofing. After visit continue to Udaipur. Overnight hotel.

Day 12

In the morning, we make a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Visit the 16 century City Palace. The major attractions inside the Palace are Durbar Hall, Palace Museum, Jagdish Temple, and Crystal Gallery. You may also find it interesting to visit Saheli ki Bari meaning Friends' Garden, a small decorated garden, created in honor of Royal Ladies for entertaining purpose. In the evening, transfer to Airport for the Delhi flight. After arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Delhi Hotel.

Day 13

Airport departure will be provided to board your onward flight.
